At Coast Roast Coffee, we primarily supply grocery stores, cafés, and restaurants, so instead of printing “Roasted On” dates, we use either “Enjoy By” freshness dates (on our 11oz retail bags) or 'Lot # dates' (on our bulk 5lb bags).

We apply a standard 6-month shelf life to all of our coffees. That means you can easily calculate the roast date by simply subtracting 6 months from the date printed on your bag. For example:

An “Enjoy By” date of 12/01/25 means the beans were roasted on 06/01/25.
An “Enjoy By” date of 04/14/26 means the beans were roasted on 10/14/25.

This system ensures consistency across our wholesale and retail partners, while still giving you a clear way to know exactly when your coffee was roasted. We appreciate your support of Coast Roast and hope this helps!
